No coffee will dispenses

It goes through the cycle but no coffee come out. It all ends up in the tray. As described, the coffee is ground and the machine seems to go through its usual cycles however the unused (dry) grounds are dropped into the grounds collector and the water into the bin. I have also tried using pre-ground coffee and have experienced the same results.

Jura customer service agents act bery surprised by this problem and suggest sliding the moveable coffee dispensing head up and down firmly to try to jog-free anything that may be clogging the system. After doing so, they suggest running through a manual rinse cycle to see if anything comes out of the heads. Typically there are some grounds that make their way through. Sometimes this technique works and more often it does not. I have now wasted enough coffee to try to find a sustainable solution. I was wondering if you have solved your problem, as we have the same now. The coffee and the rinse goes straight in the tray. Please let me know what the outcome was. Thanks

Thank you for you comment, however it is not possible to remove the spout, without opening up the coffee machine. I wonder if I should try it, I think it might be a blockage.

I would remove the coffee spout and check the lines into it. The coffee seems to stop when it hits the spout and goes through the by pass instead. Remove the spout(be careful) then run a coffee and see if it works.

If the machine is still under warranty, send it back ti Jura. If not your options are to find a tech in your area or open the spout. Send me a few picture of the front of the machine especially the spout from all angles and I will give you the easiest way to remove it. I have repaired the X90 but have never seen the spout on your model, the pictures will help.

Built in Miele Coffee Maker: why do i need to empty drip tray so often when there is always a container under the dispenser?

The Drip tray is where the system rinses to when the unit powers up or down and goes through the rinse cycle - there is a drain valve on the Brew unit drive that empties into the drip tray

I have a saeco super automatica Leaking water

Take the brew unit out when the machine is off and cold. With your finger, check the well next to the large gear on the inside of the machine. This is the gear that fits in the back of the brew unit when it is in place. That well may be clogged with fine coffee grounds and some mildew build up. You might notice that after brewing, very little water will has been flowing into the drip tray. Take a Q-tip and push it through the hole at the bottom of the well to remove the coffee ground buildup. The excess water after brewing will flow through normally now and not behind the brew unit.

I cannot get the drawer to close completely on my Jura E8 in order for the "missing drawer" light to go off. I've unplugged the unit to allow chip to reset... nothing. I think the elevator is...

I have the same machine and this seems to happen if the grounds bin is pulled out before it goes through a full cycle. take both the grounds and water trays out. Try to fit the grounds bin around the "elevator", slide the grounds tray underneath that then the water tray as well. It should slide right in then the machine will complete the cycle and work just fine :)

How fine have you got you grind setting, if it is a new machine it needs to be on course Grind, fine grinds clog the filter.  You need to reach into where the tray goes with a cloth and wipe clean the filter bin which is right behind a flap

Cleaning machine propt will not go away

I have the same machine and had the same issue all day yesterday. Tech support will tell you to clean the tamper (round disk behind the tan/gray "flap"), which you should do. That didn't do it for me, however, so I kept cleaning. I cleaned out the chute where coffee powder goes. Then, after turning off the machine and removing the tray, I used my fingers to go up/under/behind as much as I could get to. I found the motherload of old coffee grounds. It's hard to describe where, but it was all around that metal area in the center. Just keep poking, but use your fingers so you can feel where the coffee is. I tried q-tips, but that didn't work..you have to feel it. After I got all the gunk out, I ran a cleaning again - no tablet - and it no longer said "press rinse" at the end of the cycle. It asked me to dump the tray, and then it went to "ready"! Yahoo - saved a bundle in shipping and repair.

No coffee, water going to the drip tray

OK, so this is a problem with your brew unit. The unit is not cycling correctly to tell the water to come through.

We had another problem like this just this week.

The wat we fixed it was 1) Give the Brew Unit a really good clean. 2)Make sure the Brew Unit can complete a cycle - manually rotate the brew unit components through a cycle 3) Lubricate the Brew Units moving parts if necessary using some Saeco or Other Food Grade Lubricant

Then try watch a complete coffee cycle by leaving the side door of your machine open, and tricking the micro switches into thinking the door is closed by engaging them with some card or something similar.

Let us know if this does not resolve your issue.

No coffee will dispenses

Hi, We had a similar problem and it turns out the beans we were using were too oily and clogging up the works. We solved it by using a slightly more coarse grind (and brewing a stronger cup), and by buying only the best beans (oily beans don't make coffee stronger, just means they aren't good beans and by roasting longer can make the coffee taste stronger). Try Barefoot Coffee Roasters (I don't work for them, just love their coffee). We also use the cleaning tablet more often than prompted, and clean the inside of the flap when we dump the grinds. Good luck. Great coffee, but finicky machine!
