No full G7 model stated
worse no OS stated, at all,
windows, what?
no blue screens posted (camera photos)
IRQ failure, my guess.
if yes, me too, bad drivers
but lacking the OS running wow, that is hard to get help.
all we can do is generize, lacking key facts
g7 WHAT? IT HAS A FULL MODEL NUMBER.
with that and the windows version, w7/8/10\
we can take you to HP.com, and show you all HP drivers
there that match your unstated PC.
can.
ever heard of HP? we are not HP we are fixya, a bs box.
here there are
https://h30434.www3.hp.com/
the real deal. ask the real guys. this
and expect the same questions.
what PC
what os?"
if the HP PC is 2006 or newer the magical f11 recovery key works
power on, hammer f11, per HP reals instructions, fixya is NOT HP,ok/?
then try startup recovery
or full recovery back to day one. new.
less, all your data, and all your added apps.
my guess is some force loaded the wrong drives on this PC.
not using HP software matched
or PC overheats, never ever cleaned
or bad memory,
why in the world post, lacking then name of your OS, windows what?
nor the real G7 full name.
like g7-1234us
see on the service tag, only that matters.
a real name. full.
eg:
HP Pavilion g7-1310us
wild guess.

It sounds like IRQ or IRQL on your Blue screen of ***** (BSOD). You can open the event viewer and try and track down the issue but it is usually a driver that is causing a fault or crossing over an interrupt.
I would suggest you get online with Microsoft and chat with them. First verify what system you are running (latest currently is version 1709) and they can help you resolve the issue with an update but don't let them wipe your system or suggest a clean install because you'll lose all your applications and they do not care if you can't find your Windows 2003 orrice disk with serial number. Try uninstalling specific drivers, especially your video drivers and reinstalling them from scratch.
Blue screens are signs of hard drive failure. Save what you value from that failing HD to disk, then replace it with a new hard drive, and transfer your saved data into the new one. Bouncing your hard drive (computer) while it is operating can bounce the read write heads and irrecoverably damage the disks and the heads.
if windows 10 , there are 100 blue screen errors. and many are not Hdd caused.
do you need a list?
bad memory is one,'
i can do more but , this is all covered at MS.com if you read there on topicl
My impression is that all blue screen displays are pending catastrophic failure precursors. But, yes Larry, I'd like to see the list if you would share. Thanks for your reply.
not pending, opposite, its crash.
and there are vast causes, ever think to ask MS what they mean,?
hardware bad, any or bad drives, then viruses. in 3 classes of failure then this.
also w10 list is growing at each new major w10 update, a fact.
the simple days of XP are gone,
one guy here dose the niffty fiftyhttp://www.fixwindowserrors.biz/blog/51-...*****-bsod-stop-error-code-ways-fix
and
https://www.lifewire.com/blue-screen-err...
id have to site search ms.com to get their
list.
best trick in the book, on w10
is force it to safe mode (fast boot off)
ending the hiberfil.sys, corruption fast.
note , you need to hex code, or guessing
is impossible !
learn that W10 loves to mess up\
fast boot sux, deal
it takes memory (even corrupted) and saves it in the hiberfil.sys (sp wrong above)
then boots to that bad file, and BSODS
endlessly,
the fix is easy turn it off
then find why there is corruption next.
i see vast persons throwing good ssd in the trash now, ignorant of above facts.
bad drivers. bad memory, bad video card(or driver (ram)
The sad part is SFC nor DISM fixes this.
sad that there is no
SFC -f hiberfil.sys test.
sad that F8 is gone and the steps more complex, bare are stated here.

SOURCE: windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to computer
try restore ur system to factory default state when u purchased it as new u can do that as follows
from ur backup OS cd
or try this
BEFORE TURNING ON THE LAPTOP, press and hold the 0 (zero) button on the keyboard, then turn on the computer while holding the 0 (zero) button down. When the Toshiba logo screen appears, you can release the 0 key.
if the problem persists after this then i am 100% sure about hardware malfunction that is RAM problem kindly replace and check if it works or if u have two RAM chips installed try each one at a time to find the faulty one
SOURCE: computer crash
this is all happen to not properly shut down, if your read the problem from blue screen so we can identify it give you some instruction how to fix it. YOu know only one can repair this is a computer technician or expert.. but i think you don't have so maybe your the one going to do it, here's is a instruction: 1. Put a Bootable System Disk XP or Vista or etc. 2. Make a Bootable Disk run before the system comes up... 3. Follow the procedure which appear on the screen... then so on.
SOURCE: My laptop says a problem has been detected and
doest it comes with bluescreen please be more descriptive about your problem
SOURCE: laptop randomly shuts down and shows a blue screen saying
Make sure you don't have any unecessary programs loading up into windows when your laptop boots up. The next time the system randomly reboots check to see if the laptop feels a bit warmer then normal. Could be that your air vents are being blocked by dust. That would cause the air not to flow properly. Take a can of air and blow the vents clear so the air can flow properly and that would take care of the problem.
have you made any changes before the blue screen appear? installing a driver maybe? if you have, try to undone those changes by booting with Startup with last known good configuration (undo recent registry and driver change),use System Restore,or Roll Back device driver,Scan your computer for viruses
and Return BIOS settings to their default levels,go to BIOS by pressing F2 or del exactly after you press the power button and the screen show up
if it still in blue screen, that's probably that some of your system file is missing, and you need to reinstall your operating system
Please let me know if it's working or not,i don't like to abandon anyone, and thanks for using fixya
