The cable from the speed selector to the back of the snow blower frame needs to be adjusted. Instructions are in any Tory-Bilt, Craftsman or Cub Cadet owners manual.
Look for a plastic cap with two bumps on it near the bottom of the engine (or a pipe about 4" long with a pipe cap on the end). Open the cap and tip the machine to drain the oil. Set the blower upright and refill with 3/4 quart of oil (24 oz). Check level, add more until the dipstick says it is correct. Usually about 32 oz.
