I have a KU990 and it had the same problem !!! I solved it by turning my mobile off then removing the memory card and putting it back again and turning it back on. Then there were no problems !!

This is a problem f several LG phones. It has nothing to do with the amount of apps installed. It is the amount of apps multitasking. You can see how many apps are running by selecting the middle button on your KP501. There you can remove them from the list. BUT... that won't solve the problem. Seems that after a few days, you cannot open any application any more, and the message will pop up every time. Seems like a memory (working memory, not storage) or some counter that goes op when opening apps, but doesnt go down when closing them. This is not a solution, but a hint to finding one.

It has nothing to do with what you download on it. i only use my phone for texting and for emergency calls. BASIC stuff and my phone still says that! it is just a dumb phone.
3 options that have worked so far:
1) press the button in the middle, on the right side of favorite apps, there is an arrow, push it to see "running apps", then press "end all".
2) turn the phone off at night. don't let it run.
3) take the battery out and card, and put it back in.
no problems since.

I have this same problem on my lg neon 2. I think it may have something to do with the music i put on my phone, and/or the sd card i use. I just restart it and it goes away for a day or two. but i guess i just have to live with it because no one atfido or lg knows how to fix it. :(

May be it means you have reached the maximum limit of the characters in a message. For that you need to go to your message options and change the settings to maximum limit for text messages.

When you see that push the middle button. then tap the purple arrow in the top right corner and hit end all. I'm still trying to figure out a way to to allow more applications. But it's certainly better than having to turn your phone off. hope this helped it's my first comment :^)

LG KU990 - Maximum no of applications

It is possible to open multiple applications at once (shown by a "two overlapping squares" symbol in top line of main display - you may have opened several without shutting them down and reached a maximum. Click on Multitasking button (grid shaped button at top right of main screen) to see what applications are open and close them down.
If this doesn't work, power phone off, then on and see if that works.
