Try this, If it does not work I have a more indepth solution:

Hold the help and the on button at the same time, pull the power from the back and while still holding the buttons down plug the power back in.

My HP Photosmart C6190 keeps telling me to replace two ink cartridges when I have just replaced all the cartridges.

Several hp printer models produced in recent years have had some capacitors on the logic board fail. One of the early symptoms is ink system related failures and eventually it will constantly power on and off. Apparently some defective components were used in the construction of the logic board. On my C6180 there were 3 failed capacitors (the green cylinders - the puffed top indicates failure) and a 4th from the same manufacturer (TEAPO - many unfavorable web references to this manufacturer). If you have the failed capacitors, I would recommend replacing them, however I you do not do it yourself, the price to have an electronics repair may be more then the price of a new printer. I hope this helps.

Hi Karsten, This suggestion might be a long shot, but it sounds very similar to problem other folks (including myself) are having with their HP all in one printers. The code you mentioned sounds like an Ink System Failure code. My C6180 had the 0xc19a0035 Ink System Failure code, eventually the printer would power on and off every 15-20 seconds - continuously. Apparently some defective components were used in the construction of the logic board (see photo). On my C6180 there were 3 failed capacitors (the green cylinders - the puffed top indicates failure) and a 4th from the same manufacturer (TEAPO - many unfavorable web references to this manufacturer). I purchased 3x 330uF 16V and 1x 680uF 10v rated to 105 degrees Celsius (total about 60cents). On the logic board, the capacitors I replaced are labeled C613, C614, C660 and C662. If you are not comfortable replacing the parts yourself (or don't have a soldering tool), you will have to find someone who will. The time to repair should be less than 30 min - I did it in 25 min with only a solder pen. This fixed the on and off problem and also fixed the ink system failures the printer was having. A similar fix may apply to your printer.acca299.jpg

I have a HP Photosmart C6180 All-in-One printer that is 3 years old. It has been a great printer for our home. Today it decided it would no longer print and I get the following message: Ink System...

I had an ink system error message on my C6180 that evolved into the printer power cycling every 15 seconds of so. Apparently some defective components were used in the construction of the logic board (see photo). Can't print on Photosmart 3110 all in one

This is a result in a print head failure or the use of non HP ink ether or there right you need to service the unit part will be needed if the maintance does fail. If your using non HP ink stop its use and purchase HP ink you be glad you did!

Error: OXc18a0201

The ink system failure message has a chance to be fixed or it may be a permanent issue. It can be pointing toward a firmware failure in the printer and if that is the case the following steps should fix it. Press and hold the ?*? key. Press the ?#? key and release both keys. Display should say ?Enter Special Key Combo? Press and release in sequence the "1?, ?2? and ?3? buttons. Display should say ?Support? and display the FW rev (something like R0631R) Mine reads R0631M . Press and release the right arrow button until the display says ?System Configuration Menu?. Press and release the ?OK? button. Display should say ?Hardware failure status?. If not there already, Arrow Key over to ?Hardware failure status?, Press and release the ?OK? button. Display should say ?Hardware failure status: Clear. Press OK to clear?. Press and release the ?OK? Button. Message changes to ?Hardware failure status Cleared. Press Cancel to continue?. Press and release the ?CANCEL? button as many times as necessary, so that, either the ?Welcome to Photosmart Express? screen appears, or, the ?Ink System Failure? screen appears. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO PRINT AT THIS STAGE. Using the Power Button, turn the unit OFF and unplug the power cable from back of the printer and wall outlet. Wait 30 seconds for the power to get discharged and then plug the power cable into the wall outlet first and then into the back of the printer. Turn the unit on. The printer may display message ?USE POWER BUTTON TO SHUTDOWN THE PRINTER? followed by ?PRESS OK TO CONTINUE?. Press OK. The Printer will start the ?ONE TIME INK INITIALIZATION PROCESS?. Allow this process to complete and do not interrupt. Once the initialization process is complete, the printer will print out a Diagnostic Page. Good Luck!

Hp photosmart d7200 erro Oxc18a0001

Filling your cartridge with non-HP ink won't cause an error. There are basically two reasons for ink system failure, The cartridge is no good or the ink system has failed. Some of these machines can be reset. But, try replacing cartridge first.

Ink system failure error Oxc18a0201 i have changed all ink whats next? gene

Usually this occurs due to hardware failure,
in this case a semi full reset could be tried and if that doesn't work you may further try a partial reset.

Here'show you do it:

unplug the power cable from the back of the printer.
press and hold # and 3 on the front panel button and then replug it,wait until the printer reinitialises.
.
