Ls broad band 24 client admin and password - Linksys WRT54GX2 Wireless-G Broadband Router with SRX200 (LS-WRT54G2)

Here is a link to Linksys website where you can find the info to reset the password on the router. Usually the password is admin/admin, usually. Sometimes it is admin/password for username/password.

i am techbuddies from fixya group.
try to use the default password as "admin".if it works then its okie or else you need to hard reset the router .
inoder to hard reset the router ,check at the rare end their would be a small hoel please try to insert a small pin into the hoel and press it until the all the router lights flashes .

And once the router is reset try to use the default password that is admin.

The default username and password for Linksys routers are:
Username: admin Password: password
or
Username: admin Password: admin
or
Username: <no username> Password: password
If all of this fail you'll need to reset your linksys router so that it will also reset the password to the default. To reset you linksys router you can check it out on this website: http://technicallyeasy.net/2008/01/how-to-reset-linksys-wrt54g-wireless/
Note: Reseting your router means it's going to reload the factory default settings and all of the settings that you made on your router will be deleted permanently.

In your routers settings, generally under DHCP, there is a client lease time setting that will sometimes make the router disconnect the computer. Go into your router's admin page, generally by opening your web browser and typing in the IP address of your router. Many routers don't have a password in place to access the admin page, however, some use username and password as 'admin', or username 'admin' and password is left blank.

Check this client lease setting, this has been the problem with other persons I have helped with the same problem.

You need to RESET router then configure it .For that press hold RESET button for 10 seconds then all settings defaults. Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it.

Then you can see configuration page of router.

Click on wireless settings then WEP Security then if it is in * or # format then add new WEP code .It is your password to connect wi fi.Then save settings and restart router.
Then you can connect your wi fi network with that code.

read on the router if its broad band , if is not , you will not be able to use it , so my advice to you is get aother linksys router with broad band on it .wish you all the best

You will need to connect to the router and set up WEP. Do you know the Admin password for the router?

you need to re-enter the username and password for the broadband connection. Log in to the router and go through the connection wizard, but you MUST have the name and password that you were given by the provider.

access your router with following link

http://192.168.0.1

then type user name:admin
password is:admin or blank

then enable DHCP.then u can get ip automatically.
