C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\2.bin\M3PLUGIN.DLL

Is every program running fine? It is a registry file - in other word a file that is the basis for all programs. If every program is running fine, you can delete by start>run>and type regedit or if in Vista start>and type regedit. Use the path in the error (C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\2.bin\M3PLUGIN.DLL) to find the file and delete it.

: C:progra~1\mywebs~1\bar\4.bin\m3plugin.dll

This is due to a missing file for a program called "MyWebSearch" which is regarded as an ethical, but annoying, piece of software.

I suggest you uninstall it, via instructions below and also utilize a maintenance utility, called CCleaner, listed as the second link.

Removal instructions:
http://www.free-web-browsers.com/support/remove-mysearch.shtml

Maintenance Utility:

If this information has been helpful, please take a moment to rate the solution. Thank you.

M3plugin.dll missing module at startup

Your web browser has been hijacked by "adware" called "My Web Search"... The fix is involved, but not impossible.

First, uninstall the My Web Search program using standard Add/Remove Programs. Also uninstall any of the following items associated with FunWebProducts.
  • My Web Search (Smiley Central or FWP product as applicable)
  • My Way Speedbar (Smiley Central or other FWP as applicable)
  • My Way Speedbar (AOL and Yahoo Messengers) (beta users only)
  • My Way Speedbar (Outlook, Outlook Express, and IncrediMail)
  • Search Assistant - My Way
Download a free copy of a program called HijackThis.

Reboot your Computer and run the HijackThis program.

Scan for and fix any of the entries shown below.

  • R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {00A6FAF6-072E-44cf-8957-5838F569A31D} - C:\Program Files\MyWebSearch\SrchAstt\1.bin\MWSSRCAS.DLL
  • O2 - BHO: MyWebSearch Search Assistant BHO - {00A6FAF1-072E-44cf-8957-5838F569A31D} - C:\Program Files\MyWebSearch\SrchAstt\1.bin\MWSSRCAS.DLL
  • O2 - BHO: mwsBar BHO - {07B18EA1-A523-4961-B6BB-170DE4475CCA} - C:\Program Files\MyWebSearch\bar\1.bin\MWSBAR.DLL
  • O3 - Toolbar: My &Web Search - {07B18EA9-A523-4961-B6BB-170DE4475CCA} - C:\Program Files\MyWebSearch\bar\1.bin\MWSBAR.DLL
  • O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MyWebSearch Email Plugin] C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\1.bin\mwsoemon.exe
  • O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MyWebSearch Email Plugin] C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\1.bin\mwsoemon.exe
  • O4 - Startup: MyWebSearch Email Plugin.lnk = C:\Program Files\MyWebSearch\bar\1.bin\MWSOEMON.EXE
  • O4 - Global Startup: MyWebSearch Email Plugin.lnk = C:\Program Files\MyWebSearch\bar\1.bin\MWSOEMON.EXE
  • O8 - Extra context menu item: &Search - http://bar.mywebsearch.com/menusearch.html?p=ZWYYYYYYYYUS
  • O16 - DPF: {1D4DB7D2-6EC9-47A3-BD87-1E41684E07BB} - http://ak.imgfarm.com/images/nocache/funwebproducts/ei/MyWebSearchInitialSetup1.0.0.8-2.cab
Next, open My Computer, Drive C, and double-click on the Program Files folder
Right-click and delete the folders for:
  • FunWebProducts
  • MyWebSearch
MyWebSearch should now be completely uninstalled from your computer.
There will be some minor registry entries left behind by the uninstall, however these can be cleaned up by running SpyBot Search and Destroy. SpyBot is also available online as a free download.

Good luck!!

C:PROGA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\1.bin\MP3PLUGIN.DLL

I am running XP. I went to RUN - MSCONFIG, then go to START tab. You will find an entry for this DLL. Uncheck to box, choose APPLY, and restart your PC, the nagging pop up on restart should be gone.

Window proffectional 2000

Hi rahul
Is this problem regarding your office or something else.
As it seems this is about my web search toolbar utility which you had installed earlier .
You run the msconfig utility using the run command from start menu. After this disable the startup item for mwsbar.dll and exit.
You look for the program files and search for MyWebs folder and delete it.

And it will work fine.

Don't forget to give fixya rating to this.
