check the simple things first: does it do it when using a DVD player or Blue Ray hooked to one of the rear audio/video inputs?

The sony tuners have been known to get intermittent, it might be a bad ground where the tuner connects to the main chasis, If the problem is in the tuner itself it will be most difficult to resolve since the connections are so small and compacted together.

i got problem wif my TV... sony wega trinitron 29inch..

- last 2 night... the TV @ screen slowly lost color for 2-4second... and after that it suddenly turn off for 5-10second and turn back on itself. the led blink 3-5times....
