DTV signal will not come up on start up but after warm up

When I turn on the TV the DTV portion will not display the signal. However the analog signal shows fine on start up. After the TV has been on a while (it warms up) the DTV signal shows. A year ago the DTV signal was bad then but it was under warranty and the DTV 'card' was replaced as a result. It is a Vizio 32" LCD bought in August 2006.

Was just the DTV card replaced only or the mainboard? Replacing the entire mainboard should do the trick.

How do I connect my Sansui 6010B VCR with an analog TV and a DTV tuner?

two ways of connecting VCR with Analog TV with DTV tuner.
DTV tuner (RF) output to VCR (RF) input,VCR (RF) output to analog TV (RF) input.
turn DTV tuner on (VCR should have a TV\VCR switch that makes signal coming from tuner BYPASS VHS right into TV) note:: change channel FROM tuner. You should be able to record by placing a blank tape and pressing RECORD.
2ND. DTV tuner, VCR, should have a RCA in\out connections...Audio & video. You need a RF\RCA bypass switch. It has a INput with RCA connections to a RF signal out that goes to the RF Input of analog TV

My tv won't pick up all channels since going digital. says signal is 62 percent. we have an arial extension could this be the problem.

If you live in the United States it is a problem since going digital. Analog signals are not broadcast anymore and your antenna is designed for analog signal, not digital. Now that the DTV Transition is completed, analog TV sets need additional equipment -– a digital-to-analog converter box –- to receive over-the-air television. Analog sets equipped with a converter box will display the digital broadcasts, but not in full digital quality. The box can be purchased almost everywhere. I hope this helps and good luck!

No video output from Magnavox VCR (MDV560VR)

You need to tune a chanel on your tv to the vcr signal, using an RF cable (aerial cable between vcr and tv). That is if your tv has an analogue tuner.

Digital tuner

I don't have this unit, but guessing from it's description on Amazon.com, I'd figure that it is analog-only. So you would need a converter.

Here's the thing: all U.S. broadcasters are transmitting the new DTV signals NOW - in addition to the old analog signals. If a TV has a digital tuner, you should be able to use it now to see those DTV signals. Check your setup menu for options like ATSC.
One hint, the new signals use channel designations like 7.1 or 7-1 or 7-1HD. And some stations will have virtual channels, i.e., 7.1, 7.2, 7.3. If you can't get your TV to scan channels and show the numbers in that fashion, it isn't using a digital tuner.
