To ensure the correct time is on your tablet to to the settings menu. Then select Date & Time. Check the boxes for Automatic date & time and Automatic Time Zone.

Select Menu > Settings and Phone > Date and time. Select from the following: Time - Enter the current time. Time zone - Select your location. Date - Enter the date. Date format - Select the date format. Date separator - Select the symbol that separates days, months, and years. Time format - Select the time format. Time separator - Select the symbol that separates hours and minutes. Clock type - Select the clock type. Clock alarm tone - Select the tone for the alarm clock. Alarm snooze time - Adjust the snooze time. Workdays - Select your working days. You can then set an alarm only for working day mornings, for example. Automatic time update - To update the time,date, and time zone, select On. This network service may not be available on all networks.
Select Menu > Settings > Date and time.
To set the date and time, select Date & time settings.
To set the formats for date and time, select Date & time
format.
To set the phone to update the time and date automatically

You can also scroll down in Date and time Settings and select 'Auto-update of time' which means your phone will automatically keep time using your phone network service.

Moved from Texas (CST) to Florida (EST). Brought my vonage equip. with me and kept my TX phone number. Just bought a new Philips CD440 phone. I set the date and clock to correct time. When I receive a call, my phone then reverts back to CST (loses an hour). I have checked all my Vonage settings; they show me as having EST and my new FL address. I can't figure out what is making the Philips phone think it is in CST. This is spooky.

Use this menu to set the current time and date on

• Home zone: set the home time zone. Select the
city that corresponds to your home zone. To set
daylight saving time, select Set daylight saving
time.
• Time: enter the current time.
• AM/PM: select AM or PM in 12-hour time format.
• Time format: select the time format.
• Date: enter the current date.
• Date format: select the date format.
• Auto update: activate the auto time update
feature. Your phone will read the MCC (Mobile
Country Code) from the network and automatically
update the current time for the country that you
are in when you travel abroad.
