I have a 40inch tv to mount on the wall but what bracket should i buy so there is a large enough gap between the back of the tv and the wall to fit a scart lead in? i had this problem before and ended up chiseling the wall away, any ideas, cheers rob
For a true flush mount installation, you will need to recess your connections (i.e. power, HDMI, S-Vid, etc). Most tvs have the connections coming out of the bottom to allow flush mounting.
If your wall is not drywall, or you really don't want to bother with the expense of recessing your outlets and cable connections, just get a swivel arm mount. It will allow the TV to sit a bit further from the wall and still look ok.
Go to www.monoprice.com for great deals on mounts. I have 3 of them in my house and they are excellent quality.
