We have Model CGEB27S7EB1 model electric self-cleaning wall oven (also says Type BO8 and Electrolux on inside). Oven will start heating then F3 displays shortly after. Had bad storm and may have been spiked but we do not have a schematic and need some suggestions if possible. Thanks
HI, you oven temp sensor if malfunctioning. the circuit is open. its basically dead. Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control.
Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.

If you have been using the self clean feature, you have probably burned out or damaged the connections to the fan and the convection fan element or thermistor. NEVER EVER use the self clean feature.
I understand you are having trouble getting the self-clean mode on your Electrolux ICON wall oven to start. On this model, E30EW86GSS, you must remove the rack supports in order for the self-clean mode to start. To remove the oven rack support for
a self-clean cycle, pull up the support to disengage them from the brackets. If the rack supports are not removed, the self-clean cycle won't start. If you find that this does not resolve your concern and you following the self-clean instructions precisely I would recommend contact a local authorized technician to inspect your wall oven. I you need assistance locating a technician please visit the manufacture website for additional information. I hope this information helps to some degree - thanks for your question, and please do not hesitate to reconnect if you have additional information regarding your question.

Every fault code I am able to find concerning F-4 period has to do with bad oven sensor. This is the probe coming through the wall inside the oven to read oven temp and to regulate it. Hope this helps. Rick
the temperature probr is located inside your oven in one of the upper corners. it should be a round stick looking piece. some are removed from the front others are removed from the back.
Did this with me twice now on self clean. It's the thermostat on the back of the oven. Set to trip when oven gets too hot which happens with self clean. Part is about $45 - $50 and pretty simple to install. Hardest part is pulling the oven out of the wall.
