My nokia n73 shows phone memory is full but nothing is in it

Hie dear,
u need to refresh or soft format ur phone memory.
for that pres *#7780# and then the phone code (12345 by default)
it will not harm any of ur messages or the contact saved on ur phone, it will just refresh the memory.

The ram of n73 is too low .so we cant do multitasking.some java apps shows this problem.so you can close all other programmes working in same time.see that apps by long press of menu key.

Goto message setting and select the memory card.
Now all the messages stored in the memory card.

My n73 it shows 39 mb phone memory and 5000kb used space even there is nothing installed
Hi, Phone Book, messages(SMS)...etc also take the Phone Memory..... you can just delete unwanted sms from your mobile.... it will help!!

My phone shows phone memory is full but nothing is in it.
Is this a brand new phone? If there's nothing saved in your memory card, you may want to reformat the memory card to see if that helps.

Once you purchase a memory card (example: 4GB) and you insert it to the phone, once you check the memory status, you will never see that the available space is 4GB. It will show for about 3.98GB available and that's normal.

But 44MB is a big space and I believe that reformatting the memory card will help.

Solution:

1.Move your images & Videos from Phone Memory to Memory Card..

2.Install Applications in Memory Card Only..

3.if this issue still persists use this reset code

Low phone memory
dear customer,as your problem is showing low phone memory,
the solution is first u dont store any pic or music or even dont install any software in ur phone memory, and pls verify your phone not to store any thing in phone memory,i.e put ur storage memory in memory card in camera,video recording,voice recording,etc..

Error: phone memory is full, even if all files are deleted
format your phone - but you will loose everything
Otherwise go to memory details - go to applications and select options, scroll down to memory details and select phone memory. check how much u have used and what is free. Then delete accordingly - all your music files etc etc and bingo - now stop the tears

Firstly open the menu- then go to control panel- then log -open it up - optiions clear all log.

u must store your messages in memory card and not your phone memory. Deletae unwanted messages from the message menu.

Open messages- then press options then settings then "others" then "memory in use " select use memory card .

ambove this option is the no of messages that can be stored - there type in 999. Close all and come back. to your menu.
