Connect an optical lead from the sky hd box to the Samsung Blue Ray.
Then change the function button on the Blue Ray to Din 1.
Then change settings on Sky HD box to Dolby and this worked.
You have several ways to do this. You can hdmi cables from the two units and plug them into your tv if it supports hdmi and run the audio out portion on the back of the tv and hook that into one of the audion inputs on the surround unit. Or you run audio directly out of the bluray using rca, digital coax, or digital optical cable. Turn the surround reciever to the corresponding input that you choose to use.
On the remote control for the Samsung Home Theater System look at the bottom left to a button that says "MODE", those moods change the sound each speaker gives off. if that doesn't work, you might need new wiring because there are other wires that are more durable than the ones that come with it, much better too.
if you got all the lead you should have fibre optics which connects from dvd to tv and then set your dvd to digi in. you should get the sound. i have same cinema system and i have done the same
Looks like it is to do with the rear wireless speaker. Now, my problem is over. Its gone. I first turned the reciever on and then turned on the rear speaker wirel less on. No rear chk in problem now. Hope this helps. R.
Hi, Ive had the same problem and after talking to Samsung Tech Support, I re-checked all my speaker wires and thier connection... one wasn't quite making proper contact so I adjusted it and PRESTO all better!!!!!
i dont think you are suppose to have the tv speakers on with the theather systems speakers on because of the magnectic field can cause your tv speakers to mess up.
