turn it off and then back on, they will sometimes accuire a differant and better cell tower. get out from under that metal roof also. stand on one foot and touch ur tuonge to ur nose, in the country, whatever increases ur atitiude, or elavation. good luck.....

The altimeter requires calibration on the Edge 800.
To calibrate the altimeter:
1. Select MENU > > System > GPS > Set Elevation.
2. Enter the elevation, and select the check box.

change out your M.A.P. sensor it controls your fuel and air mixtures when going into higher and lower elavations

If your point of impact needs to move up, turn the knob the direction that says up. If it needs to move left, turn the windage knob the direction that says left.

What do you mean by misses? Coughing out the carb. so to speak, if this is what it is doing and you have stage one kit and slip on exhaust then check your pilot jet.Factory #42 you should have a 45 or 48 depending on your location and elavation

Check the drain.

This could be a clogged drain line especially if the drain connects to a disposal. Some drains are semi-transparrent and a good light will show the clog. I use a long piece of tubing (snake) to dislodge the clog.

Also, if this does connect to a disposal make sure the dishwasher drain hose is elavated when it leaves the disposal so disposal debris will not get in the dishwasher drain line. You may have to tie the drain line to keep it elavated.

I have exact same problem. It has been working for 5-6 months but suddenly on one trip it now reads app. 280 meters too high elavation
