How to install LAN Driver

installing LAN Card driver either u need to installed manual or automtically .

1. automatically each vendor have its own driver for the lan driver card . so once u download the driver applicattion u just double click and follow the steps it will detect the lan card.
2. manualy u have to extract the the driver file and put it in specifict folder then u have to right click on my computer then click on management the click on device manager then right click on the Lan device which will be makrd yes yellow quesiton mark then u have click on update the driver and select browse my computer to install the driver and then give the path o exit extracted folder you will be done.

1st you check the Lan card driver is properly Installed.

• Go to the control panel
• Click on the System Icon
• Click on the Hardware Tab
• Click on the Device Manager then
• Click on the Network Adapter
• See the Lan Card Driver.if it is not available then Install the Lan Card Driver.

Yes, LAN is different from the Wireless network.

Chances are, the driver for the ethernet card is not yet loaded or somehow got corrupted.

What you can do is to get the install disc or acquire the correct ethernet driver from Dell's support website. Install it into your PC and then let us know if you need further assistance.

Either the LAN card is faulty or the LAN driver is not installed and/or not configured properly or the LAN cable is faulty.
Check Device Manager to see if the LAN driver is installed, working and enabled. If not then re-install the LAN card driver.
If the LAN driver won't install or detect the LAN card then it maybe faulty and needs to be replaced.
Try a different LAN cable.
Is all the LEDs on in the modem?
Try rebooting the modem (power it off for 30 secs and power it up again).

Hi there. Those drivers aren't the right ones.
Did you go to the laptop brand website and download the correct drivers? Sometimes they have different types of drivers depending on what type of LAN adapter there is on the computer.
Sometimes there are drivers for Broadcom LAN adapters or Intel. If it doesn't work with one, try the other one.
