When I receive a call, I cannot hear the caller but the caller can hear me very well. Also the buttons are too hard especially when unlocking the phone.

Usually you can do that when you are in a call.
(During a call) I think it's the <------> button on the side of the phone.

There are a couple of causes:- 1, Faulty Earpiece speaker, change the earpiece... 2, Faulty Ribbon/Flex, it connects the phones main PCB to the screen, the top keypad the front camera and the earpiece, a kink or tear in this can cause any of those to malfunction. Change the ribbon/flex 3, If its only happening when a certain person calls you, the problem could be at their end and they're microphone might be faulty on their handset... 4, Less common but there are IC's that control the sound on the 6500 these could be faulty or have dry solder, these can be either reflowed or replaced.

Answer the call then scroll to the right to increase the volume of the earpiece. Scroll to the left to decrease the volume. You will see the volume bar increases or decreases as you adjust it. The scroll keys are also called the navigation keys. They are the ones used when you navigate the menu up, down, left, or right.
