Oooh, bad news. You probably got a sidekick 3 that had a bad charging port. Return for a refund if you can.

the Sidekick 3 has a charging issue thatcrops up after awhile. It will just not charge the battery.A good way to tell is if the orange light comes on but the phone never charges.

You can get an external battery charger for the sidekick for about 25 dollars that will allow you to charge the sidekick 3 battery separate.

make sure your sidekick 3 is turned off completely then take the battery, sim card, and memory card out and lays them on the towel so they can get dries as well place your sidekick 3 in a big bowel with white rice in so they can absorb the wettness off of it and leave them all stay there for overnight or 2 days to let them dries and after 2 days up, put everything back in and turn your sidekick on and see if its worked again.

p.s if its not working, then your sol and started to save up some money once again. or you can try and sell it for repair and parts on ebay or another websites and use that money to get yourself another sidekick 3 or wait for a new sidekick to come out that has been talking about it for a while is called a sidekick blade if you havent already heard about it. so yeah. its suppposed to be launch around in summer or fall then use that money for it, if you perfers that or you can go ahead and find a cheaper sidekick 3 around on ebay or you can check on CL(craiglist) to see if they have some with in a good condition for cheap. but, also make sure theyre not scam you for money or give you a fake advertise about it that they dont really have it. (just give you a lil heads up).

my battery is gay

Mine did that too.... I just left it over night and then it took the charge the next day. Now I have a different problem... the phone says it is charging... the battery meter flashes 1, 2 and 3 bars like it is taking a charge but it's not... now it's dead and when I plug it in the red and green phone lights on the top and bottom of the scroll wheel flash really fast but no charging ??? HELP....
