Phone-Computer Syncing Problem

Open your Internet browser and navigate to the Samsung PC Studio download page

(see Resources for link).

Click the link next to the operating system you currently have installed on the computer. Momentarily the software begins to download directly to your computer system.

Double-click the downloaded software to load the installation wizard. Click "Next" on the welcome page, then accept the end-user agreement and leave the current installation name and location as-is.

Select "Install" to install the software directly onto the computer system.

Plug the USB data cable into the power connection port on the Samsung L760, then plug the other end of the cable into a USB port on your computer.

Load the software you just installed; the computer automatically detects the hooked-up cell phone.

check any updates of your phone for the software driver and install it to your computer..or betterremove your memory card and use card reader to download pictures or music.

you will need a cable that connects the phone to the computer, probably USB to phone specific .
You will need software for your computer to recognize the phone.
Some phone manufacturers like Nokia have downloadable software for syncing their phones. The software must be designed for the phone.

Be sure your USB cable is in good condition,try to test another cable to see what's really problem is,might need a replace after all. also try to check your phone USB terminal,might some corroded partsin their that's why it leads no contact at all,clean it as well.

When you plug the your phone to the computer and ask for a driver,it means you need an application that suites your phone as well as to synchronize your computer.

You need to get a Cable & Software from manufacturers web site or DVD that came with phone. Install software & driver, THEN connect the phone via the USB cable. Run the manufacturers software and from there you can do what you want. Also & even without the phone software, as long as the Driver is installed, when plugged in, the PC "Sees" it as a Drive, as such you can Cut, Copy, Paste between locations.

you might if this didnt work the first time have to uninstall all the software and try a fresh copy of the software in comp to sync everything with desktop manager

well just put the one side of cable in phone and other side is either will the type whic can be inserted to serial port or usb check on the backside of your cpu see in which port you can insert the cable,but first instal the cable cd on your computer,then if it is connected properly your computer will show new hardware found then you can proceed with copying photos from your phone

Hi,
I fixed my problem of my HTC touch not Syncing with my phone thru the USB cable.
Go to
Start, Settings, System, Power, Advanced and select/enable the option that says "When device is turned on, do not charge the battery when connected to the PC."
If it still does not work at first then disconnect the USB from your PC/device, wait a few seconds and then plug it back in.
You'll suddenly see your phone and your PC syncing.

Right ya need to get Motorola's software and "Drivers" to make your phone work.. You need Motorola Phone Tools find it on the sites below.. download the software install and THEN plug in your USB cable attached to your phone.. then you will be able to manipulate your files etc... NB: You may have to select you USB "Port" B4 continuing make sure ya read your instructions carefully. Basically... Install Motorola Phone Tools..
