MTD says there are 2 different applications. I hope this one is yours, if not, by using it as a reference; maybe you will be able to do yours. Good luck.
If you are missing the manual, for the said model, I have found that the simplest way, of figuring out the correct route for the belt, is to remove the deck, and hold the replacement belt above the mechanism, with the tension from the engine end. Then 'mock up' the replacing proceedure, bearing in mind the correct direction the tensioner/s, move in. Then it's not too difficult to figure it out the correct route. go to partstree.com click mtd,then put in your model#;then click deck assembly. it will show you your belt routing;then scroll or click the item #.it should tell you the lenth of your belt.hope this helps.please rate this;thank;s
