My battery died and i jumped my car when i tried to use the key fob nothing happens. my car wasn't started for six months. i got a new battery and still the same problem with the fob. i think that my computer lost the code, is there a sequence that i can do for the computer to recognize the fob again.

With the battery charger connected or a jumper battery simply click the alarm key fob on and then off. This will reset the alarm and the car should start...had mine towed to find this out

If you have a new battery and it keeps going dead, then either you have a bad battery or the alternator is not charging properly. Altenator not charging could be either a bad alternator, loose belt, or bad wiring coming from alternator.
