My battery died and i jumped my car when i tried to use the key fob nothing happens. my car wasn't started for six months. i got a new battery and still the same problem with the fob. i think that my computer lost the code, is there a sequence that i can do for the computer to recognize the fob again.

SOURCE: 1994 Dodge Viper will not start after storage and battery drain.

With the battery charger connected or a jumper battery simply click the alarm key fob on and then off. This will reset the alarm and the car should start...had mine towed to find this out

SOURCE: I see on here where

If you have a new battery and it keeps going dead, then either you have a bad battery or the alternator is not charging properly. Altenator not charging could be either a bad alternator, loose belt, or bad wiring coming from alternator.

Testimonial: "Thanku so much for answering ~ I am going to start by replacing battery because I believe its the original battery and see if that fixes it. "

2001 Durango. Why won't it start and run?

your anti theft device is activated, you need to lock and unlock your doors a couple times with the key fob,not the key,and then you need to put the key in the ignition and start it,if you dont have your key fob, call your car dealer to get a new one, they are programmed for each car only, you cannot bypass it.

No bus, after battery died,2006 dodge srtatus

The Battery has gone flat. When you tried to jump start it, this did not change the battery state its still flat.
I bet you will get the same code on the scanner if you remove the battery. Take the battery out and charge it with a battery charger overnight, then try it again.

Mercedes benz c240 2003 car cannot start ignition

Try checking the key reader it's usually a plastic ring around the key barrel. If it's dies will not read code in key to enable the car to start. Check your key is sending a code as well.
