SOURCE: Power light blinking 2 times

2 blinks means the unit is having problem with 12 volt supply.
while power on you can check 12DC on power supply before shutdown.if the voltage is constant before shut down I would recommend to replace D board.

SOURCE: Panasonic remote and volume/channel buttons do not work

My son put a penny in the SD card slot of my Pansonic flat screen tv. I finally got the penny out but now the volume and tv controls do not work. I can change the channels through my cable box but that is it. The volume does not work on my cable remote or the flatscreen. What do you suggest I do to fix this problem?? Thanks, Josh

SOURCE: Panasonic plasma 50PZ85 power led blink 10 times

Either a bad power supply or a bad processor board.
A Good Service Shop should know what the 10 blinks are indicating.
May be a repair cost between $200 and 400 dollars.

SOURCE: I have a panasonic flat panel tv 1080i. 46

the s1 models have been having several problems. it really depends on how many times the red led is blinking. panasonic uses a certain number of blinks to tell you what board has failed. the s1 models have just recently come out. therefore your tv should still be under manufacturer warranty. call panasonic and see if there is a servicer in your area. our company is in dallas texas. Turn on your TV.
On your Tune In remote, press TV and release.
Press and hold Set until the green light on Tune In blinks once, pauses and then blinks twice. Now release the Set key.
Enter the first three-digit TV code for your NEC from the list which follows:
030, 056, 019
These codes are listed in order of popularity, and the green light will blink twice if you perform this procedure correctly.
Aim Tune In at your TV and press Power. Your TV should turn off. If it does not, repeat steps 2-5, trying each code listed in step 4 until you find the one that operates your TV.
Now Test Your TVWhy test? Many times more than one code appears to work. Testing is desirable to be sure you have the correct code for your TV or the other devices you are setting up.
Press the Power key to turn on the TV, then press mute, channel scan ("CH") and volume ("VOL") keys. Tune channels 7 and 11 by entering the number followed by the Enter key.
If your TV does not pass the test, return to Step 2 at the top of this page. Enter the next three-digit code and repeat the process.

There is a blinking red light next to power button.Panasonic tv will not turn on.

1. Subject
Information of LED Flashing timing chart.
2. Contents
When an abnormality has occurred the unit, the protection circuit operates and reset to the stand by mode. At this time, the
defective block can be identified by the number of blinks of the Power LED on the front panel of the unit.

Hopefully it eventually stops blinking after unplugging set from the outlet, otherwise claim your Nobel Prize for wireless energy transmission.

Won't respond to volume or channel changes red light blinks 20x's when turned off.

It's definitely a firmware problem. I called Panasonic and they were very polite about the entire situation and sent me a SD card with the firmware update. If you don't have time and you're tired of listening to tv at the same volume there is a way to do a hard reset.

I figured that unplugging the unit would do this, but there is one other step that you have to do to ensure that this works.

Generally the power button on the tv is always in the "on" position, this is what allows the remote to work. In order to do a hard reset the on/off button must be in the off position. Make sure that is off, then unplug the unit, let it sit there for a minute or two and plug it back in. If the tv comes back on as soon as you plug it back into the wall/powerstrip then the button was not in the off position.

This isn't the best fix, you'll still need to get the firmware update but it will at least give you the ability to use your tv normally....well until it decides to randomly lock up on you again and you have to do this all over.
