SOURCE: scanner locked

There is a scanner lock "lever" on the machine. It is located in the dark grey area where the paper comes out. Look for a light green lever and pull it towards you (not down, just forward).

Then turn off your machine and pull out the power for 30 seconds. When you reconnect and power up the printer, hopefully the error will be gone.

SCX4521 Printer is displaying error message Scanner Is locked how to solve this problem

Solution from samsung site i hope it will work for you

1. Press MENU # 1 9 3 4 in sequence rapidly. The LCD panel should now display TECH.
2. Press MENU, and then press ENTER. The LCD panel will display Tech Mode.
3. Press the left arrow (4. Press ENTER. The operator panel will display [YES].
5. Press ENTER. The toner warning message should be gone.
6. To exit TECH MODE, press MENU # 1 9 3 4 in rapid succession, as if you were dialing a phone number. The operator panel should no longer display TECH.

Samsung scx-4521f starts to inisalise and then turns off and starts up again and then turns off and so on.

Remove cartridge , all cover and clean all sensor with air blower, than fitting all cover than your problem solved

It is not possible to scan to email anymore. Also the copier makes noise when copying and the result is blurred and illegible.
