I have a microsoft access 2007 file but i cannot open it in my cpu because my software is only microsoft access 2003

It appears that you have not been updating your Microsoft office regularly. Anyway do it now. Go to MS Office web site and upgrade/update your MS Access 2003 to MS Access 2007.

I have MS office installed on my PC but somehow have lost MS Access. How to reload MS Access ?

Hello:
First, verify that you have the correct version of Microsoft Office. Microsoft Access was only included in the Professional version of Microsoft Office 2003.
Second, Microsoft Access is probably still on your computer, but you no longer have a shortcut to it. You can create one by following these instructions:
  1. Open a file browser by navigating to Start>Computer (Start>My Computer on XP)
  2. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 11\
    (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office 11\ on x64 systems)
  3. In this folder is a file called MSACCESS.exe. This is Microsoft Access.
  4. Right-click on the file.
  5. Hover/click on the "Send To" option.
  6. Click on the "Desktop (Create Shortcut)" option.
  7. You now have a shortcut to Access on your desktop.

example
Word
  1. Click the Microsoft Office Buttondefault.aspx?assetid=za100771021033, and then click Word Options at the bottom of the window.
  2. Click Popular, and then click the Color scheme that you want.

Upgrading from 2003 access database to 2007

I would leave your database as Access 2003. the 2007 version has many bugs and will give you many more problems than its worth. Access 2003 is very stable, you should be able to keep it at that for many years.
