Can you retrieve deleted text messages from a Verizon motorolla v750

    • 1 Use free retrieval programs, which are available for download on websites such as File Guru (see Resources). These types of websites allow users to download the free software, which can be used to restore lost data from SIM cards.
Retrieval programs can recover all types of data, including text messages, recent calls, phone numbers and more. As long as your Motorola phone is equipped with a SIM card this is a great solution; although not all Motorola models will have a SIM card.
    • 2 Contact Motorola directly. The customer service representative might be able to walk you through a step-by-step process to restore deleted phone data. Depending on the specific model of your phone, this ability may not be available, but it is always wise to try.
    • 3 Sync your Motorola phone with your computer. Many smartphones, including models such as the Motorola Q and Motorola Droid, have the ability to be connected to your computer for backup purposes. In this instance, you can also use a sync the phone to restore the memory. Each time you sync, or connect, your phone to the computer it will save everything from pictures, to contacts, to music and text messages.
If your phone's memory has been deleted, connect the phone to the computer, using the provided USB cable, and download the information that was last backed up. If you have added data since your last sync, that data will not be available. For example, if you performed a sync two weeks ago, anything added since then will not be downloaded back to your phone.
    • 4 Access your account through the cellular provider's website, if you subscribe to a backup service. Backup services, such as Verizon Wireless' "Backup Assistant", automatically saves a copy of your phone's contacts and allows users to print, add, delete, or edit contacts online, according to Verizon Wireless (see Resources).
Services like this usually charge a small fee, but it's well worth it for the ability to access your contacts from anywhere, anytime. Although this won't recover all of your Motorola phone's memory, you will at least be able to restore your contact information.

I have inputed the wrong codes into my sim card to many times and it has locked it down....been to provider etc and no one can retrieve my contacts......can anyone help?

Your contacts were stored to your SIM card that crashed when you entered the wrong password too many times. When you reach that point your SIM card burns out and no information can be retrieved. If it wasn't on your phone with the new SIM card there will be no way to retrieve them.

Lost all contacts and messages on Nokia 95 after update

If you have done a back up of your phone prior to update your Nokia N95 system, then simply connect your Nokia through the Connection Manager, and use the restore function. Doing this will restore all the files that were backed up before.

In regards to your contacts, your SIM card should have copies of your contacts saved on it. This can be done by going to Contacts > Options > SIM Contact > Sim Directory and just copy all the contacts to your phone.

Unfortunately there is no other methods to restore messages and contacts, if you haven't backed up prior to the system update and saved contacts to your SIM card. Just remember to do a regular backup and always copy contacts to your SIM card.

Hope I was of assistance,
Cheers :)

I lost all my photos after swapping simm card from i776 to i880. Is there any way to retrieve them? PLEEEAAASSSEE HHHEEELLPPP!!!!!!

Did you send any of them via picture mail? If so they should be saved on your carriers server depending on how long ago they were sent. Check your online account or contact your customer care department to find out the specifics of their picture mail site or database (e.g. www.sprint.com/picturemail for Sprint or Nextel accounts, Verizon's site seems to be down). If not, the sim card probably reset itself during the swap to match the software requirements of the new phone. If these don't assist then I am sorry to inform you that they are likely lost for good. In the future be sure to save your pictures to an external memory source such as a memory card or to send them to an email address prior to completing the swap. Also, I always recommend, having a sim card for every phone and keeping them with their respective devices. A store for your carrier can swap over any contacts after changing phones for you. Most carriers also sell an accessory that will swap info from one sim card to another. Hope this is at least helpful for the future if you arent able to locate your pictures. Good Luck!

My old LG cell phone (LGCU400) broke and was replaced with a newer model (LGECU515). I put my old sim card in the new phone but I cannot retrieve any of my contacts/info from the sim card. Is there...

Hello!
I went to the AT&T/Cingular store and they tried hooking my broken phone to their system but could not retrieve any #s (they were saved to my phone not my SIM). They told me there was no other way to retrieve the #s and that a computer cable wouldn't work bc their system would've been able to retrieve them. I knew there had to be some way of retrieving them bc I could still turn my phone on- the top 1/2 (screen) had just broken off.
It finally dawned on me to look at my husband's phone (we had the same one), write down the buttons to press & the # of clicks per button on my old phone, in order to blindly go through my entire contacts list and save each one to my SIM card. Approximately every 25 contacts I saved I'd switch the SIM card to my new phone and make sure they were all saving correctly. I'm currently still transferring all 137 contacts- grueling but well worth it. This only works if your old phone will still turn on & function even if you can't see/use the screen.
***Make sure your phone's saving your contacts to your SIM and not your phone- I thought mine was and it was one rude awakening today when I found out otherwise! I hope this helps!
