How to hook up to wifi

To use the data function you need a working sim that has a data plan
To connect to the internet you need to enable WiFi and connect to a WiFi router open or secure .open needs no password secure needs the wifi password to connect

Sounds like you may have typed in the wifi password incorrectly. That is, if your network is password protected. If running Windows 7, open control panel, open Network and Sharing Center, look for "Manage Wireless Networks" on the left pane, open it, find your network's name, move your mouse until your network is highlighted, do not click, once highlighted, click the "remove" button above, it will prompt you, click "yes". Try again to connect to your Wifi, making sure you type in the password correctly. If other devices besides your laptop also cannot connect to your wifi, then the problem lies with your router or your ISP. Check your router's physical connections, power, ethernet cords, etc., make all are plugged in. If all other devices can connect, but your laptop cannot, then your laptop is the sole problem.

u search wifi networks ,,should have in the menu wifi connections or add a new network,,do a search for wifi,,a wifi scan,,when new netwrks or signal s appear on there,,,if it says open u can go online,,if passwrd enabled or wep or psk or whatever u cant ,,has to be a open signal,,like mcdonalds,,hotels,,,stuff like that,,drive an d search,,

First off you modem there is not wifi but cant be hooked up to a wifi router that you can purchase from any computer store.

The modem would hook up to the router directly instead of hooking to the computer via RJ45 "ethernet cable"

The wifi router would then share that connection. You would need to set that up with some security I recommend WPA 2 encryption you will need to select a password/ or pass phrase.

In order for me to give you the How To's we would need some more information such as:

1. Brand name of router
2. Model number

All you do is go to network settings .....Internet connnection settings, select easy, Wireless, Scan, It will find your router and its settings....After you get through the router stuff it will come to WLAN security settings.....I just click none, press x to save your settings then test. everything should be hooked up then

This usb adapter will allow you to pick wireless signals of wireless router. If you have a free wifi like hotspot airport wifi then you can connnect to it and use wireless internet. Othjer wise you got to have a wireless router with broadband connection before you can utilize wireless internet facility.

This is first assuming you are talking about an IPOD Touch. You first have to have wireless connectivity. Once you have wifi go to:

1. Touch Settings

2. Touch Wifi

3. Turn your Wifi ON

4. Select a Wifi network

5. Enter the WEP Key you have created on your router (assuming you have secured your network).

6. Hit Connect

what security u r using on router WEP are u putting the correct key for that when ur pda detects the signal of ur router and one thing more try going near the router and also check the Power save option built in Windows Mobile un check it to get better performance for WIFI , go to start >settings>WIFI uncheck Enable power saving mode and then press ok and then try to connect. pls let me know if it works

go to your wireless settings, where you can see the connections that your phone can find, hold your stylus on the connection and remove the settings. after that set up a new connection. problem should be solved
