How do I change the print head for

With the machine powered up, open the transparent cover. The cartridge/printhead assembly will slip to the centre. Remove the cartridges and then move the printhead slightly left until you can lift the locking gate holding it down. Remove the printhead and fit the new one. You will need to get a QY6-0052 printhead.

My epson model cx5500 has problem i want to change my head nozzle .my head nozzle clott.printer warranty perod will also over .please tell me the price of reparing it in kolkata, westbengal & also...

Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent inkdrying out in the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, thenprint head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer thanreplace the print head.

Error message 07,010.43:41188

That error message means that the print head is not moving properly from the home park position to the print position.
Here are the mose likely possibilities.
1 Ink has spilled out and into the stainless steel block that the print head pivot shaft goes through. With the covers off looking from the front it is on lower left about mid machine, about 1 inch square. Would most likely have yellow ink in it.
2. You had a power failure or unpluged the machine without powering it down properly and the Print head wiper is tacked to the print head not allowing it to move.
3. One of the cables that are connected to the print head are keeping it from moving properly.
4 The Media motor gears are out of timing. That is not very likely though.
Also, to prevent this, you need to be sure the machine is level front to back and side to side.
I have seen one print head defective leaking ink into the bottom of the machine making a huge mess.
But that code is definatly related to the print head not being able to pivot freely.

Error Number 07,010.43:7106

That code has 4 primary reasons for occuring.
First off, the code is related to the print head not moving freely from a park position to a print position.
Causes mostly arise from the printer not sittilg level front to back and side to side.
In order are what mot frequently cause this code.
1. If you remove the covers, there is a stainless steel print head block on the lower left side of the machine looking from the front. It is just about mid machine and about 1 inch square. The ink can leak down into that block causing it to be extremennly sticky and not allow for free movement of the print head.
2.If you lost power or unpluged the machine with out cycling it down properly, the print head, wiper can be tacked to the print head, not allowing movement.
3. One of the cables attached to the back of the print head may be to tight not allowing the print head to move.
4. The process motor timing may be off, although this is listed as a cause, I have never witnessed it causing the problem.
The print head isself may be bad, I have seen that once, but that was kind of a freaky sitution and that would be in my opinion the least likely cause.

Problem printing

Probably means the print head is jammed and can't slide freely on the track. Try unplugging the printer and *gently* sliding the head/cartidge toward the center. Then inspect the cartridge path to see if you can find an obstruction. It may help to remove the case (it should snap off) unless that makes you nervous. Lots of good suggestions at . Good luck!
