My cars satelite radio will only function on FM

My cars Sirius XM radio will not maintain "satelite" mode for more than a few moments without switching back to FM. Also the volume will function properly in FM & AM but on Satelite it will only turn DOWN, and I am incapable of changing channels in Satelite Mode, but can do so in FM & AM.

SOURCE: sirius/xm activation

Typical, they wont recognize sirius and xm on the same account. tyou need to close the old account and open a new account on the new brand head and start from square one. Also - they wont give multi head discounts if you have a mix of siruis branded heads and xm branded heads - each brand needs its own account and own e-mail address. They **** in this regard. Good luck, ive decided between this backwards book keeping and aneed to keep resetting my Sirius head periodicaly that neither is worth the aggrivation so I cancelled all of them.

Satelite Radio

You need to subscribe to Sirius Satellite Radio. Call them at 1-888 539-7474 and they can walk you through the procedure. Once you start listening to satellite, you will never want to listen to AM/FM again.

Delphi skyfi won't connect to my fm radio automatically.

The audio plug overrides the FM frequency setting. That way if you use a tape adapter to run the music through it will use that source instead.

A lot of FM channels are getting crowded into a lot of markets out there. The best way to fix the problem is to use a direct FM module. This way your Sirius will override the FM channel whether it is used or not.

Most of the New Aftermarket Stereo's now have the Connections for Sirius and XM Built in so you just need the Sat. Install Box. Really Simple. If you want to go a Cheaper Route Just Purchase the XM or Sirius Reciever and Mounting kit for the Dash or Windshield and It will play through an Empty FM Station on the Radio Via the FM Transmitter. Got one in all of my Vehicles and they work Great!
