Dell mini 1011 got wet and does not turn on.

SOURCE: My dell D810 won't power up.

Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

1 Disconnect the battery and the charger
2 Let it sit for 1-2 minutes.
3 Press and hold down the power button for 30 seconds.
4 Connect the charger (don't connect the battery yet) and try to start by pressing the power button.


Let me know if everything remain same.

try to power drain pc first. to do that, turn pc off, remove battery and ac adapter. press down power button for 15-20 sec, then but all back in and try to turn pc on. if still no go, you may need to replace battery or ac adapter, f it still wont work, possible motherboard replacement is needed.

Then definitely you dont have the Default partition on the computer.. If you are under Dell warranty call dell @ 18006249896.. They will give you a harddrive with the default partition.. Else try to get a USB CD drive from friends and reinstall the OS...

Thaat isknown as a beep code.
Does your system start up normally?
If not let me know how many beeps and I can let you know what it meens.

SOURCE: my Dell v515w printer

Might need to install the driver for the printer first! If you don't have a disk with the driver, go to the manufactures web site, to their 'driver downloads/downloads/support' where you should be able to find the driver after entering your printer model information.
