There are 3 pictures

Every time I take a picture, there are 3. I have tried numerous times to ensure that I'm not holding down the button, but there are still 3.

How do I delete large numbers of pictures at one time

Method #1 Click and drag.
Click and hold the left mouse button and drag the box around all the pictures you want to delete. This will select any it covers. Right click and click Delete.

Method #2 Shift select
Click on first picture you want to delete, hold down shift, click on last picture you want to delete. This will select any between them. You can also hold shift and press the down arrow to select them one at a time. Then right click and click Delete.

Method #3 Ctrl click
Use this if you only want to delete certain pictures, as you have more control. Select first picture you want to delete, then hold down Ctrl. While holding Ctrl continue to click pictures you want to delete. It will select them as you click them. In this way you can select many non-sequential files. Again, once you have them selected, right click and delete.

***These methods work to select multiple files, so can also be used to move or copy multiple files as well. It's easy one you've done it a time or two.

Kodak EasyShare Z740 Turns Off Fix Does your Kodak EasyShare Z740 Turns On...

Kodak EasyShare Z740 Turns Off Fix

473017b.jpg

Does your Kodak EasyShare Z740 Turns On Then Turns Off right away?
Does your Kodak EasyShare Z740 Turns Itself Off with new AA batteries in it?

Many of these Kodak EasyShare Z740 cameras that shuts off right away and will not stay on, will actually stay on if you select FAVORITES to view pictures, but just flash back and turn off if set to auto or camera mode. Try this.

If the lens cannot extend, the camera will turn itself off. You can try giving the camera a thump with the heel of your hand, but I would recommend servicing the camera rather than smashing a delicate digital instrument. After trying the steps below, a last chance alternative that works for some people is to grab and actually PULL the lens out as it tries to extend itself. Again, its delicate; if you can afford it, maybe pay for servicing before hitting and pulling on your camera.

However, before servicing your Kodak Z740 try this fix:

  1. Hold down the Time/Ascending Folder button (the button under OK on the circular panel)
  2. While holding that down, press and hold the ON/OFF button.
  3. The camera may turn itself on and stay on this time, acting normally again.

If this doesn't work for your try this:

  1. Hold down the '>' button (the one that brings you to picture review)
  2. While holding that down, press and hold the ON/OFF button.
  3. The camera may turn itself on and stay on this time, acting normally again.
If that doesn' t work, try again with the 'Trashcan' button, and ON/OFF button.

I hope that helps.

Number pad does not work

  1. Find Alt code.

Numeric Alt codes for symbols are listed in Alt codes list. Check for Alt code of symbol you want to input.

  2. Enable Num Lk.

You may need to simultaneously press ["FN" and "Scr Lk"] keys. That's the combination for "Num Lock" on some laptops. Look at the picture - the "Num Lk"/"Scr Lk" button is highlighted there.

  3. Hold down "Alt" key.

Some laptops require you to hold both "Alt" and "FN" keys.

  4. Input Alt code of symbol on Keypad.

Do this while holding "Alt" button pressed. Type Alt code on your laptop's numeric keypad. It's highlighted on the picture.

  5. Release all the keys.

After you release all the keys alt symbol should be entered. If all this stuff didn't work - check if you have really enabled the "Num Lock" first. Remember that green indicator should shine near the lock symbol on your laptop's keyboard. If that wasn't the case - try simultaneously holding "FN" and "Alt" keys instead of just "Alt". That just might work.

I just purchased a Kodak Eastshare c182 and I would like to know how to take time delayed pictures.

Manual:

Using the self-timer
Use the self-timer when you want to be included in a picture, or to ensure a steady
Shutter button press. Place the camera on a tripod or flat surface.
1 In any picture-taking mode, press the Info button to turn on the shortcut icons.
2 Press to highlight the self-timer icon. Press to choose a setting:
10 seconds- A picture is taken after a 10-second delay (so you have time
to get into the scene).
2 seconds- A picture is taken after a 2-second delay (for a steady, shutter
release on a tripod).
2 shot- The first picture is taken after a 10-second delay. A second picture
is taken 8 seconds later.
3 Compose the scene. Press the Shutter button halfway, then completely down.
The camera takes the picture/pictures after the delay.
Use the same procedure to take a 2- or 10-second self-timer video, but press the
Shutter button completely down.

If a tv is on the right channel and the sat button is not working what do you do

leelehudson

Are you getting a picture on your TV? If so, then try pressing the SAT button on the remote and releasing. See if you can now change channels. If not, then the remote may need to be readdressed to the receiver. I have provided the instructions to readdress the remote.

If you are not getting a picture, that's a totally different issue. Please respond to this site with more information.

Remote: All Other Remotes
  1. Go to System Info screen
  2. Hold down the SAT button until all mode lights light up.
  3. Enter a number between 1 and 15 using the numeric keypad on the remote.
  4. Press the pound (#) button
  5. Once the SAT button blinks three times, press record. Note: If successful the number selected in step 3 will appear in the System Info screen under Remote Address.

I have Mr Coffee APX33; I do not know how to set the coffeemaker to turn on automatically. I do not have the manual. Hope you can help. Thanks! Larry

First you have to make sure to set the clock for the correct current time:
Press down and hold the SET button. Then alternately press the UP and DOWN buttons (indicated by arrows), until you reach the current time, then release the SET button. (there is a PM indicator on screen but not an AM indicator - if you don't see the PM you are at AM)

To set the time for the brew to start in the future:
Press and release the MODE button once and the Delay Brew Clock picture will start flashing on the screen.
While the Clock picture is flashing - hold down the SET button while you use the UP and DOWN arrow buttons to set the desired brew time (you can hold down an arrow button to get there faster). Release the SET button and now that brew time is programmed. (After a few seconds the clock picture will disappear but the future brew time is programmed.)

To activate the delayed brew:
Press and release the MODE button once. The Clock picture will be flashing and the time shown will be the time that you previously set for the future brew). While the Clock picture is flashing - press and release the BREW button. The Clock picture will remain on steady. The BREW light will not come on until the time in the future that you have programmed.

Pretty confusing - but it does work. Just remember that if you see the Clock picture on steady - the machine will come on at the time you have set in.
If you want to use the machine earlier - while the Clock picture is steady - you just press the BREW button and it will brew.
If the Clock picture is steady but you want to cancel the automatic future brew - just press the BREW button twice. (This turns it on and then off and cancels the future brew).

I can send a copy of the manual if you like. Lennyg678@aol
