The sound works but no picture at all.

My 42" samsung plasma tv has great sound but there is no picture. i wonder if its the power board and how much will it cost?

    My boys hooked up the Xbox and now we can't get the picture back. Sound is fine.

Its eht is not working so call a repairing man then put it new. the original costs about 2600

Most likely your Y Sustain panel has gone bad. I would have a qualified service center evaluate it to be sure.

One fix will not repair all sets, It could be the logic board or just as easy The Y or X boards, or mabe a simple LVDS cable. But to just buy board till the set runs could get real spendy, so best advice is to take it to the shop
