I can't figure out how to download video from my JVC GR-D90U Camcorder to my computer through it's usb cable. It is a mini DV camcorder that uses mini video tapes.

From the JVC manual "This camcorder can transfer still images to a PC via USB". There is no mention of video transfer via USB so it seems it is not supported.

How can I transfer from my JVC GR-FXM40EK to PC?

JVC GR-FXM40EK is analog camcorder that can not be connected directly with computer because computer needs digital video format to save the file so connect USB 2.0 Video Capture Device in computer and plug camcorder AV wires in that device that will digitize the AV signals of analog camcorder and computer will save it in your selected folder on hard disk.
Hope this will help.

Do i need software for jvc mini camcorder model gr-d347u

If you are asking about software for transferring your tape to your computer, your computer should recognize when your camcorder is plugged into it and it will install the appropriate driver.

Attached is a link to the user manual. You will need to refer to the "editing" section. This should have all of the instructions that you need.

Need drivers for jvc gr d33u camcorder

Hi,
You don't need a driver to transfer video to your computer. You do need software that works. You can use microsoft movie make to transfer it. Also here is the user manual for your camera as well:

Downloading Video to my Computer from a JVC GR-SXM920

You need a video capture card that supports analog inputs. Connect the video and audio out jacks from the camera to the computer. You will need some sort of software also. The Movie Maker software that comes with Windows XP would work.
The little cord that came with the camera will not transfer the video.

I need a usb cable for my jvc gr-d22u video camera

In my opinion, Firewire is the best method for transferring video to your computer from your camcorder. The JVC GR-D22 and Dell Inspiron 9200 both have firewire ports if I am not mistaken.

My camcorder

You can transfer video from the camera to your pc by using an i.Link connection if your camera has it or you can use the supplied usb wire to connect it to your pc and transfer the video that way. If you do not have the cord it is easily obtainable at any camera repair or sales store.
