My GE Xl44 gas stove gas burners will not ignite, there is no spark, but there is gas coming out. It lights up when I put a match next to it. Only one of the burners are working. I tried switching them and they all worked on the one burner for a little while, now none of them work.
If there is no spark at all then the circut is not being completed. The main problem that I had was that there was no ignition even though there WAS a spark and gas. I cleaned out the small pin hole sized inlet on the gas valve with a needle. This allowed the gas to enter the feeder and distribute the gas towards the ignition spark properly.
Also it is very important that the range be level. If there is a pitch to the range the gas may be exiting the distribution cap improperly resulting in improper distribution!
If all of the ignitors spark when you try to light, you may have the drip pans mixed up. sounds crazy, but that was my problem.
Same problem. There is ignition, and there is spark, but the flames are really low. Tried to set gas settings, but still no dice. Any help out there?

my mom has the same stove and she has 2 burners that won't ignite, shes tried cleaning them real good but still has to use a lighter to lite them.
Two of the burners will not ignite when cold except by blowing on them. when hot and turned off they will ignite immediately. ?????
Same problem. Only the front left burner ignites by itself. Have to use a match to light the others.
Same problem. None of my gas burners will ignite. Gas is coming out, and I hear the clicking sound of it trying to ignite, but it doesn't light. The oven appears to be working fine though. I'd love to hear any suggestions.
Same problem. Does anyone know how to fix it?
Same! One out of the four doesn't light w/o a match.
