How does a wire attach to the back of the turn table?
Usually, on Technics turntables, the ground wire is attached to a ground lug on the receiver.

You will more than likely need to wire it up from the inside of the unit, unfortunately. Parts for this model are discontinued. You can also try an iPod cable. As the size is a 1/8" plug - same as an iPod cable, then just cut the other end, and ground to your receiver.

I have found out that the female phono plugs on the turntable are sensative and have to have a solid connection and often adjusted from time to time to eliminate the 60 cycle hum.
