I've downloaded from Walmart.com and then when I download from another site using Windows Media player, I either lose my old songs, can't find most of the new songs I've put on my MP3 Player.

What am I doing wrong? Help!

The songs you are downloading are in the wrong format. Use mp3, and you should be fine.

I don't know how to download songs and from where to get them from and i also dont have a credit card

1st - You need to convert your CDs to MP3 music files.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track.
There are also Freeware CD RIP programs on the Internet that can create music title and album folders automatically.
OR
Download MP3 music files from the Internet, some sites will cost money to download these music files. Do a Google search on free MP3 music files.

2nd - connect your MP3 player to your computer using the supplied USB cable. The computer will see this player as an external storage device, Just copy the MP3 music files from the computer's hard disk to the MP3 player.

NOTE - When the USB cable is connected to the computer, it will also charge the MP3 player's battery.

Downloading music trouble

After you've downloaded the music files you want from Lime wire put them in your music folder on your computer ,then you need to sync your MP3 player through windows media player. plug in your mp3 player then open windows media player, on the top right there is tab says sync. click on refresh devices and your mp3 player should show up on the right window pane in windows media player. From there you can drag all your music onto it and press sync!
Hope this works

Can somebody help me?

-Plug in your mp3 player

-Go into your downloading program, select a song and go 'Locate file/Open Containg Folder', you should be in your folder with all your songs. or go 'My Music' and find your music files.

-Either select all your songs, open them with 'Windows Media Player' and transfer them that way.
-Or 'Open My Computer' then open "iLo" and drag the songs from where your songs are located [My Music] to the 'Music' folder in your iLo folder.

[MyMusic] Song.mp3 >drag to> [MyComputer/iLo] Music.

Cannot download music to ilo mp3 player

The instructions in these pages, which are largely links, pertain to Windows Media Player 10 and 11 only.

Windows Media Player is made by Microsoft. The general help page for Windows Media Player is:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/default.mspx

Through this link, you can enter a variety of search terms that will help you find what you are looking for (exs.: “add files to my mp3 player”; “delete files from my mp3 player,” etc.)

Important Vocabulary:

The code word for “mp3 player” in Windows Media Player is “DEVICE” or “portable device”

The code word for adding files is “SYNC,” “syncing,” or “synchronizing”

The code word for copying files from CD is “RIP,” or “ripping”

The code word for files stored on both My Computer and my Mp3 player (when it is connected to the computer) is “LIBRARY”

To add files (SYNC) to your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/windowsmediaplayer/wmp10/harrison_wmp10.mspx

To add files (SYNC) to your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/faq/sync.mspx

To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/knowledgecenter/mediaadvice/0085.mspx#EDF

To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

My Directions:

1. Connect your mp3 player to the computer

2. Open Windows Media Player

3. Click on the icon of your Mp3 player on the left-hand side of the Library

4. Click on the Songs, Tracks, or other Music Folder

5. Find a song or songs that you want to delete

6. Left-click the song once to highlight it

7. Press the “Delete” button on your computer’s keyboard

To copy (RIP) files from CD to Mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/windowsmediaplayer/getstarted/ripcd.mspx

To copy (RIP) files from CD to Mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:
