Why were you trying to use truefaster?
if this is why (window true faster free download - Win Utilities 5.0: Tune up, Clean, Repair and Optimize System Performance, and much more programs.)

vanilla windows XP has much more capability than this.
we would suggest windows, malwarebytes, ccleaner, avast or security essentials. with regular updates and restarting is ALL YOU NEED. other applications cause your system to become DIRTY.

please try to clean (uninstall) unused, and bad programs. use your task manager to clean your system.

use our tips on www.SoftwareVariations.com
or www.LegalMobileSecurity.com

SOURCE: Can't download anything. New Toshiba Satellite

This suggests a problem with your connection. It appears it's timing out before your download is completed. If for any reason your connection is slow, the timeout settings on your browser will need to be lengthened. There's more about this in Drew Thaler's blog...

SOURCE: flash player stopped working. cannot uninstall. cannot download anything...causes not responding message to appear. anyivirus scan turns off automatically

Sounds like you have a Virus or malware, try this program, MALWAREBYTES found here :http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/ INstall and RUN a FULL scan delete all results. Some malware will shut your anti virus and on board defenses down. MALWAREBYTES is a good place to start. if you need further assistance respond to this post. Canon f80 multipass New five years ago never

Are you using Windows Vista or Windows 7? If so, the driver download page at Canon does not provide drivers beyond XP. Otherwise, go back to the XP (or earlier versions) driver downlaod site and download the MultiPASS F80 Software User's Guide. That may provide the answer to your problem. Also, if you are using unpopular, proprietary software programs the driver may not recognize the commands. Good Luck!

Anything I try to download stops at 99%. will not complete. Have Windows XP service pack 3 and internet explorer 8. Have uninstalled and disabled spyware and anitvirus and still having the same issue.

Try saving it to a thumb drive - or make a special folder - sounds like you might be out of memory. If that doesn't work - download Malware Bytes and run it.
Also a great cleaner free is CCleaner.
Also - to check it and be sure it isn't the file - try downloading another file that is large too but that you can just delete once you download it - for a test download.

Best of it.

Select safe mode with networking.
Select the adminstartor mode
Now try downloading anyhthing . If the download is completes
Create a new user account and restart your computer to login into the new user account.

Will only download 99% of a download then stop

Windows downloads to a "temporary" filename.
At 99%, it starts to copy the file from that location to the location that you specified. If this "copy" fails, it does _NOT_ report "100%" -- e.g., when you run out of disk-space for both the "copy" and the "original-download".
