When first powering on this laptop, you should push the button on the left side where the CD/DVD drive is located. You should also push F10 to stop it from loading an OS and it will enter into bios where the CD tray can be opened.
CD/DVD Drive Tray problems There are two ways to open the CD/DVD drive door if the button just below the drive tray does not work. Go to My Computer and right click on the drive and click on Eject. If this does not work then you can manually open the CD/DVD drive tray by - Straighten a paper clip and gently insert it into a tiny hole below the drive tray next to the Eject button. Push the paper clip gently until the drive tray pops out, then pull the tray until it is fully out, then you can remove the CD/DVD disc. If you still having problem opening with the Eject button, then the CD/DVD drive is faulty and needs replacing.

Fixed. In the glove box there is a vallet button. I pushed it and now my trunk and fuel door work. and what this has to do with my trunk and fuel door not functioning , I have no idea. Hope this helps someone else.
Just below the CD/DVD tray there is a tiny hole. Insert a straighten paper clip in this hole and gently push the paper clip until the CD/DVD tray pops out. You can now pull the tray out until it is in the fully opened position to remove the disc. Try pushing the eject button to see if the tray closes, then push the eject button to see if the tray opens. If this foes not work then the CD/DVD drive is faulty and it needs to be replaced.
hold the faceplate open, get a paper clip. There is a small hole in the front of the DVD/CD drive, place the paperclip in it and push slowly until the device drawer opens.
