I finally opened my sirius starmate ST2. You can also do it by separating the two parts wth your nails, then, and once lightly open, insert a flat screw driver in the separation, moving it to one of the sides, then separate a little bit more the two cases, you'll hear a pop from one of the locks, then try the other side, , and the try the laterals and done. But I have to warn you, if you are thinking to replace a part, it'll be very difficult because of the small parts it has. In my case it was just a simple welding spot on the AC in.

Try finding the reset. It's usually a pinhole.

I complained strenuously I have not received their reply yet, but they have fixed the problem....on my unit anyway. Today it is now working properly.
