I have a Sanyo Flat TV. My volume keeps going up and down . How can I fix it?

You did not post the model number but if the unit uses pushbuttons on the actual set, the carbon coating on the inside of the switch pad is flaking off and causing problems. You may be able to remove it and clean it up and it would be fine, you may have to use a new coating on the buttons though.

Paint flaked off. How to repaint?

Scrape off any loose paint. Sand it down, removing any rust. Use an enamel spray paint primer first. Then finish with a good quality exterior spray paint like rustoleum. Put on a few thin layers of paint allowing it to dry between coats.

Spot in tv

The spot may be from debris inside the chamber of the TV box. A bug, dust speck, or other material can attach to the inside screen or on a color tube inside of the unit. Do not touch the inside of the Front Screen as it has a special coating and you could damage the screen permanently. Avoid washing with water or sprays that can enter the frame of the screen. Use a cloth with cleaner applied to it and wipe clean, then dry with a soft rag or paper towel.

Never use cleaners on your flat screen. Luke warm water and a lent free rag is the way to go.

My tent has served me well but recently parts are starting to fall off. When I shake the outer cover dry there are lots of flakes that look like glue. 3 of the velcro attachments to the outer part of the...

Hi, the flakes you're referring to is the original weatherproofing that was applied by the manufacturer. This coating can be reapplied using a spray on product that is purchased at most camping outfitters. Before you spray, give the cover a gentle wash to clear any dirt and grime. Then using a mild abrasive pad, gently lift away the flaking weatherproofing. Spray the new coating as per product instructions.

My son sprayed half a bottel of mirror cleaner on my flat screen what should i do

Depending on what is in the cleaner it may do no harm at all. The screen will have a anti-glare or anti-reflection coating on the glass. If the cleaner is mild it won't attack this coating. If it attacks it you may see shiny spot.

If you can clean it off without scrubbing ie blot it off don't rub it you may get away without causing any additional harm (if any). If the cleaner doesn't do any harm to the electrics then thats about all that could happen. There are some prducts that can be used to recoat the screens but they are not as durable as the original coating.

The inside coating has come off the inside of the ice maker . The white " flakes " is calcium deposits , sticking to the exposed cast metal , inside the ice maker , and sticking to the cubes , after water freezing in the mold . You need to replace the ice maker .

I have several sandwich toasters but the Tefal coating keeps flaking off. I want the know where I can buy spray-on Tefal coating to re-cover the toasting surface?

Don't use the spray on teflon. It will kill you. It is used as an industrial coating but it isn't food grade. You would be safer, using wheel bearing grease to cook your food. The problem with nonstick cookware is, once it starts to break down, there's nothing you can do except either replace the item or scour it off and use a cooking spray.
