Hp laSERJET 1200 PAPER JAM

HI,

 

A piece of paper has wrapped around the roller at the back of the printer and I am unable to get it out. Opended the back , front and side. but no luck.

    A piece of paper is jamed at the end of printer and I can not move it.

    I have the exact same problem. The printer took in a piece of paper just slightly wider than 8x12" and it got jammed around the roller in the back (the fuser). I've tried pulling it out, but that just rips the paper and at least 75% of the page is still in there, invisible from all the other openings of the printer.

    How much do you think it will it cost me to get this fixed? Yikes.

If you cant get paper out from inside after removing cartridge then there is No easy fix, and the roller at rear is called a fuser, these parts dont come out easy,machine will need all covers removed, plugs disconnected and brackets removed, gears pulled off and fuser removed, maybe replaced if there is a reason why it wrapped around roller

I have a hp printer 1200 all in one. Anytime I want to print it says paper jam and it wont print there is no paper in it. How do I correct this proplem please?

There is a paper jam in my hp laserjet 3055 printer and I don't know where is the door of this printer to remove the anybody please help me out.
Remove the cartridge from the printer and look for the obstructing paper especially in the arms of the paper detector switches (2 nos. in the path). If you cant see any, the paper has most likely wrapped around the pressure roller / tafflon sleeve in the fuser. Carefully remove the plate just above the cartridge labelled "Caution Hot - Avoid Contact" (after the printer has been in power OFF mode and has cooled down) by removing the two screws on either side. See if the paper has wrapped around the rollers - remove and fit back the plate. In case of repeating problem look for damages to pressure roller and the tefflon sleeve. Have the fuser serviced in that case.

WE HAVE A PAPER JAM ON THE BACK FUSER OF HP LASERJET 2420. A PIECE OF PAPER IS COMPLETELY WRAPPED AROUND IT.
You can attempt to remove the fuser from the machine to have better access to the paper inside. It is very easy to damage the fuser roller and film when removing a piece of paper wrapped around inside.

We recommend calling for service, but worst case is you try yourself and can't get the paper out then you would just order a new fuser.

Hi, check throughout the printer for small pieces of paper stuck, broken sensors etc, clean the rollers in the paper tray 2, check for wear. clean the registration rollers (under a metal flap under the print cartridge) do not clean the transfer roller (the spongey roller sitting under the drum!)

Paper jam at back roller, paper is wrapped around back roller
i don't think that is a back roller, is more than likely your fusing assembly. that would be the big roller just before the output assembly. unfortunately, once this occurs your fuser is not repairable. if you can remove the paper, this will happen again, with frequency. your best bet is to have the fusing assembly replaced. make sure you take it to someone that will guarantee the work for at least 90 days.

Paper jam problem
it will depend if it is a false paper jam, it would be better if you would call HP.
if not, you can take out the paper at back, there will be a rear door access.

Hi vgde2004: Here are some things to check.

1. The printer is in manual feed mode.
Possible solution: Change the manual feed setting in "printer properties"
2. The door is open,the media is out,the toner cartridge is installed incorrectly,or the paper is jammed. Check paper path.
3.Fan error
Solution:
1. Check fan cables for looseness.
2. Replace fan assembly

Paper Jam - ADF
Open ADF cover
Lift up Pickup roller Assy
remove spring from pickup roller assy
Remove pickup roller assy gently pull it towards you
Carefully remove green plastic diverter
note this is held in place by 4 plastic pins 2 on each side
look in the opening for foreign objects.
( I have found labels, money, paperclips, plastic pieces,jammed paper in this area)
