CLOTHES ARE VERY WET AT THE END OF THE CYCLE

I HAVE A FRIGIDAIRE FRONT LOADING WASHING MACHINE, MODEL #GLTF1040A50. TYPICALLY THE CLOTHES ARE JUST DAMP WHEN I TAKE THEM OUT OF THE WASHING MACHINE, BUT NOW THE CLOTHES ARE VERY WET. THE MACHINE IS NOT SPINNING THE CLOTHES OR DRAINING THE WATER LIKE IT USED TO. DO I NEED A NEW PUMP?

The pump is probably obstructed by an object. Typicial it will be a coin. You will need to gain access to the pump, which should be located on the bottom front to the machine. Remove the hoses to the pump.(Important..have a bowl or pan to catch the water that will come out of the hoses)
Turn the machine on a cycle that will turn the pump on. This will let you know if the pump is working correctly. If something is in the pump, remove the pump and remove any obstructions. Then just reverse the process to reassemble your machine. If the pump is not working thaen you will need to replace it.

Frigidaire Gallery washer won't produce final high spin

Hey friend, thank you for your post!
I see that your Frigidaire washer, FWT449GFS2 is not entering the final high spin cycle. It is possible that you could have a defective motor or timer. Since it could be any one of these underlying issues I would recommend you having a professional come out to the home for the repair of your washer. -Matt

My frigidaire gltf1040a50 won't spin properly and clothes are rinsed but wet. I checked the tub and it is loose as if it isn't attached to anything and can't get good traction but I'

you need to check those loose connection or lack of therein , you should have at least 1 spring drum to chassis, also chck tension of drive belt ( cheap to buy ) 3_30_2012_5_20_39_pm.jpg

On my front-loading stacked Frigidaire dryer, the clothes are coming out of the washing machine nearly dripping wet. What is the best way to deal with this?

Final spin does not appear to be working. Clothes are soaking wet after the buzzer has gone off. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.

My washer won't spin. My clothes are still wet and the soap is still on them at the end of the cycle. Do you think it is the belt?

Can you adjust the water level on the LG Tromm WM1814CW? The water level when washing and rinsing is so low that the clothes are barely wet when the washer has finished.

No. Water level is not user adjustable. The washer will automatically put in the correct amount (about 3 inches in the bottom of the tub) and adjust for load size and type. This level is all that is needed. The reason the clothes are hardly wet at the end of the cycle is due to the high spin speed (compared to almost all top loading machines). If you want to see how wet the clothes really are, pause the machine mid cycle and the door will unlock and you can see, or select a "no spin" option and see at the end of that cycle. You will use about 12 gallons of water for a large load, vs. about 45 for a top loading machine, so remember to adjust your soap and fabric softener use accordingly. ( one tablespoon detergent and one teaspoon fabric softener maximum per load)
