Here is how you get your laser into adjustment modeY axis; Power and scan key at same time, unit then will tip from Y1 to Y2, then recenter. use up and down arrows to bring laser into adjustment. Let unit stabilize for 30 seconds, press scan key, you will get a continuos beep, now at same time press down arrow key. This will store your new calibration. To get X axis into adjustment mode power on and up arrow at same time, and for Z axis type laser onto Z axis and use adjustment procedure for Y axis. Saving your calibrations is the same as in Y axis. Hope this helps you
The problem may be with the calibrations. First of all do the calibrations all i mean Color and line calibrations. If the problem still appears then you have to replace the Paper Axis motor which is responsible in moving the paper forward. If you replace the paper axis motor then you have to perform the calibrations which is a must.
hi theres many a solution for this problem on fixya ive tried them all from lowering my download speed to taking them apart but no 1 mentions recalibrating your axis 9 i havent had this problem so far since recalobrating it so its worth a try!
I had the same problem with my X52 and searched high and low on the internet for a solution. What I did was pop the base off and found a loose connection on the x-axis wires. I re-routed both the x and y axis contact wires underneath the p/s2 port and put it back together. Seems to be working fine now. I will not that opening up the controller will void your warranty and it also could be possible that your x-axis problem could stem from something completely different from what was wrong with mine.
