Can't get past the charging screen

Hello Liz, You may have two problems. If your unit is several years old, the battery may need to be replaced. First charge the battery overnight. To get the screen unfrozen , you need to remove the screws on the back, open the case, and unplug the white battery connection . Reconnect the battery connection after a few seconds. If this works, it is usually a temporary fix . Either your battery does not hold a charge or your charger connection is poor at best and can not deliver a full charge to the battery. It could be both.

Having same issue, battery will not charge. Can't even use it unless its plugged into my computer the whole time. Followed the charging instructions, "turn power switch on and then use the usb cord provided to plug the device into the computer." I do so and it reads that it is charging, however the bar never goes to the green charge symbol. It said to not let it charge past 8 hours so I always unplug it before that. Even tried the recommended 3-5 hours and still I turn it on and it says right away battery low.

I would first check the fuse in the cigarette lighter plug in, unscrew the silver / black bottom of plug.... you didn't say if it would charge otherwise like thru your computer using a usb cord

Check charging with system or use option of warranty replacement of battery and have fine

Are you using the charger that came with the unit? If you do not use the one that came with it, the unit may be reading this as though it were plugged into the computer. It will charge then, but will not operate unless unplugged - just as you are describing.

I charged the unit and now it works fine. Plug into computer and charge for a while and the unit should work fine.

I HAVE 3 delstar mp4 player and it worked fine for a few months. I plugged it in to charge, took it off the charger and now it is frozen on a blue screen with an hourglass design. What's wrong and how can it be fixed? Help please ALSO I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT NONE OF THE 3 MP3/MP4 TURNS ON AT ALL. PLEASE HELP....

I noticed you were talking about over heating issues. Does the mouse issue happen when the computer is on for a period time?

I know with some laptops there is software for the "gadgets" on the mouse pad. If you have software related to it.. try reinstalling.

I am getting mixed thoughts of what you maybe talking about... please explain.
