This laptop is one week old and I was using it last night and it switcehd itself off. It was running on mains supply at the time. Now all that is on are the blue lights. Can somebody help as PC world is a long way away for me. I levie in Spain
If it is brand new, then you have warranty, I suggest you return it to the supplier to get it fixed, because if you do something to it you might void your warranty.
Yes I can try to help you, It could be in some kind of stand by or frozen for some reason.
ok, plug the mains power into it again,
if you have a usb stick of some kind insert one into its usb slot to give it some activity,
try holding down power up button
I had same problem i sent it back to pc world 3 times they replaced heatsink,fan,battery,hard drive and processor and is still the same
under their 28 day policy i am getting new pc but not this kind .this problem is very common and pc world cant repair it

Tried to connect my external hard drive. Now i have no blue lights. I also thoght it was in some sort of sleep/frozen/stanby mode bit I cannot wake it up. I am off to PC city in Alicane soon. The laptop camree from PC world in UK
