Car makes a loud sqealing sound when i start it

2002 mazda 626 makes a loud sqealing sound when i start it. i'm told it's common with mazdas because the belts are loose. how can ifix this?

I think you should start by putting a new belt on. This may solve the problem.

I believe your transmission may be shot, Check your dipstick level to make sure your fluid level is full. If it is than your transmission may need a overhaul.

Sounds like the high beam switch in the steering column bad. Might be a bad/broken contact on teh end of the switch

2002 Mazda 626 clip on end of transaxle fell off and is grinding

you could pop the axle out and get a flexible magnet hopefully it is in a place the magnet can get to,have a good day DB
