Washing machine does not drain during rinse cycle?

It is normal for a washer to spin and spray fresh water over the clothes during rinse period. I don’t know why it would leave clothes wet. Look at your options. See if you can turn off rinse n spin to just spin.

Not knowing the age or model of your washer it's hard to say but if it is the older direct drive then it's a bad lid switch!

if you go to spin only cycle, does it drain and then spin? if yes, then most likely control board.

From my understanding your Frigidaire frontload washer is not spinning the final spinning and the clothes are still wet. If you washer is overloaded it will not spin properly to release the water out of the clothes. Also, a small load will cause your washer to not spin properly. You should additionally check the drain hose to make sure it not kinked or twisted that could cause your improper draining. If all that checks properly it could be an issue with your drain pump, motor, and control panel. I would suggest consulting with a technician for proper diagnosis and repair. front loader washers fill accourding to how big the load size is on all front load washers.There should be no water above the center with a full load.If it is spinnig out and draining then it is working properly:)

Does the water run through the ENTIRE spin cycle? There is a period where the water will run during the spin; This is called, the "Final Rinse". But it usually only runs for about 10 seconds then stops.

HI. your unit is equipped with a spin control board. this board, if damaged, will not initiate an adequate spin. This will not allow for proper drainage and drying of the clothes. The spin motor regulates the rotation speed during the spin cycle. It seems to be the culprit at this time. Have the spin board replaced asap.

This part will usually cost around $150.00 at the most.

My washer makes a wierd clinky sound during wash and rinse cycle and it has began to stop spinning the water will drain but clothes will be soaked. Also sometimes during spin cycle it will agitate instead of spinning
