Art Academy DS game in french not english

Some DS games are only in one language, may it be French, Spanish or English. It's not all games, unfortunately, that have the ability to be multilingual.
In your case, it's a Spanish game which hasn't been translated to English. Therefore, changing the DS's language will have no effect on the game: it'll still be in Spanish whatever you do.
The only way to have the game in English is to have an English version of the game.

When the game start the four items listed as they would read in English are: -New Game -Load Game -Options--------CHOOSE THIS, It's OPTIONS In French -Credits
The next screen shows(in English) -Sound Volume -Music Volume -Language--------CHOOSE THIS, it's "LAGUE" In French -Back
From the displayed list of languages select ENGLISH, the select Back to begin playing again.

Due to the larger size of the Pandora's Box game (compared to the Curious Village), there is not enough space on the cartridge to store multiple languages and each version of the game only has one language

This being the case, the French version of the game only has French and you can't select English since the English game data is not on the cartridge

If you want to play the game in English, you'll have to get the English version of the game

remove game chip, turn on DS. from there you can look for a "gear" icon which allows you to change user settings, including language. you change language on the ds itself, not on the game chips.

im not to sure but i will try to help. is the ds in french or just the game, if its just the game. when the game is playing try looking for options then language. or maby there should be a option before the game starts. if its the Ds try remembering where the option screen was. not to sure sorry but they are just my ideas.

First download the English Kernel v1.18 (system files) from here http://r4ds.net/ then Unzip the files and place them in the root directory of your flash card. All should now be ok :)
