Hi I'm trying to source a replacement table top stand for sony bravia 32 inch lcd tv The product was wall mounted and the supplied stand is missing.

    The exact model number for the Sony Bravia TV is KDL 3253000.



    The TV is wall mounted and the table stand which was supplied when orginally purchased is now missing. I need to source a replacement stand do you have any suggestions of possible suppliers. Harry

I am guessing the screw size is M6/16mm , based on Sony official page for your TV:

Lowes or Home Depot or Ace Hardware (I prefer the latter for more knowledgeable employees). If no hardware stores nearby, try Sears or Best Buy (you may need to ask more than one person, don't give up too easily). If visiting a hardware store, you may have to look in the 'roofing' screw bins or nearby to find the right size.

You might also look for TV mounting kits that have that size screw, but you'd probably pay much more than finding the screws alone at a hardware store.

Sony bravia pedestal stand is unstable
http://www.docs.sony.com/release/SUWL31_EN_ES_FR.pdf This link will show what it looks like when removing base to wall mount.They always recomend a mounting strap that connects to the rear of the TV and then screws into the table it will be sitting on.Not sure what they expect you to do if you have a glass top table. http://www.docs.sony.com/release/SUWL31_EN_ES_FR.pdf
