the most likely fault is somehting wrong with the electronics which could be anything from a faulty solonoid inside the gearbox to a corroded terminal connection on the computer for the that controls the gearchange .Or maybe even a fault with the oil pump not producing enough pressure but this only in remote cases i think its the electrics but where?? i would advise you ask a local mechanic to have a look for you .
front glides and felt are bad and rubbing metal to metal. get model # go to searsparts.com and look it up. 2 screws on lower front removed (unplug dryer) pull bottom of front out and up till top clips let go be careful of door switch wires. label and disconnect them. check felt seal for damage. check glydes on towers holding drum up. it could also just be s coin or somthing stuck at drum edge.check the blower wheel make sure it's not stripped out or have somthing stuck in it.
Most monitors dont have built in sound so check for a sound connection from the monitor. Check the cable where it connects to the PC, if there is a small light stereo plug, stick it into the light green connector on the back of the PC tower. The standard video cable does not have the connections for audio. If you are using a HD monitor that has inbuilt speakers, try using the HDMI connector if it has one, this does have the audio inbuilt, Some DVI cables have inbuilt audio, some do not, look for small round 2.5 mm stereo plugs not connected into anything..
try to change you battery, then observe if the same problem ther are sortage or somthing wrong in your cp board.. try chek up...also check the battery terminal
dont take me up wrong but leave it to a mechanic incase anything goes wrong like gear box falls on you or anything mechanicly goes wrong u'll have no come back on it cause if a garage does somthing wrong or breaks somthing he has to replace it free of charge
not powering up does not mean the mother board is bad , the power supply going bad is more likely to be the problem . But your tower is considered to be a mini tower ive got the same one that I replaced the mother board on . dont mess up and get the wrong size board , it will not fit!
