Check your oil level? If not do that 1st and get back to whoever did the maintenance NOW before the engine blows. Because it sure sounds like they did something wrong.
common cause is that your house wiring is wrong some home owners connected the house wire's wrong so when you plug something in that is wired wrong you get this and the board should be earth grounded if you have a home depot or lowes goto the electrical department ask someone that you need to test you outlet to make sure that the wiring is correct at the outlet they will give you a outlet tester which has three lights check outlet and have corrected as needed
try to connect it with other keyboard,mouse and monitor....if they will run, the keyboard,mouse and monitor may be defective or damaged..but if they did not run properly,, maybe somethings wrong wit your unit... try to connect it first and see whats the result... please tell me what are the results... you may post it here...
